Department of Defense Hypersonic Materials Manufacturing Initiative
This is a special Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) in support of the research objectives of the Department of Defense (DoD), sponsored by the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR). DOD’s Hypersonic Material Manufacturing program is focused on directing basic research toward applications that meet US Air Force and US Space Force (USSF) needs and challenges. The goal of this FOA is to solicit proposals to address basic research needs for processing science of hypersonic materials that can lead to reliable manufacturing.
Closing Date is August 31 2021.
AFRL/AFRL Center of Excellence FOAs
There are currently two Air Force Research Laboratory’s (AFRL) university Center of Excellence (COE) funding opportunity announcements: The Brain-Derived Neuromorphic Computing with Intelligent Materials COE aims to support high-risk, high-reward basic research that will address the hardest challenges currently facing neuromorphic (brain-inspired) computing. The current closing date for applications is Aug 16, 2021.
