64th Annual Fuze Conference

For 2021, the 64th Annual Fuze Conference has its sights set on the development, production, and performance of fuze advancements as they relate to defense and national security within the time of a global pandemic. While warfare is becoming increasingly complex, the continued and enhanced exploration of fuzing is critical. Through its facilitation of effective and productive collaboration between industry, government, and academia during classified and unclassified sessions, the Fuze Conference advances the field and art of fuzing for the benefit of our current and future warfighters.

AFWERX Reimagining Energy Showcase for the DoD

AFWERX, the U.S. Air Force’s innovation catalyst, recently launched the Reimagining Energy for the DoD Challenge, an open crowdsourcing program that aims to reduce the U.S. military’s reliance on fossil fuels and accelerate it’s shift toward renewable and resilient energy sources. This effort supports the DoD’s mission to deter conflict and ensure the nation’s security, and it also stands to supercharge the clean energy industry.

International Space Pitch Day

In an effort to redefine the process for contracting international innovators, the UK and USA have partnered together to jointly launch the ‘Allied Defence Accelerator’ which continues the spirit of the two’s historic bond of combined defense initiatives. International Space Pitch Day will serve as the program’s “demo-day” showcasing high potential startups and innovators from around the globe. The event will give entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their innovation live to a joint UK-US panel of Program Executive Officers.

Hyperspace Challenge 2020 Demo Day

The national space community recognizes the need for highly autonomous, on-orbit operational spacecraft capable of an increasing number of complex tasks, but at the same time asks, how can we be certain that the platforms & algorithms being utilized for space operations can be relied upon? How can we trust autonomy? The Hyperspace Challenge, launched in 2018, is a business accelerator fueled by the U.S. Space Force and Air Force Research Lab, in partnership with CNM Ingenuity, to support the Space Vehicles directorate and our U.S. government personnel everywhere.
